Highbloo got into music when he was still a child. He created his own electro project "Highbloo" after seeing Popof perform in Belgium at the end of 2008. Ever since then, he has been working on his productions; a sweet mix between midget, dirty dutch and minimal techno. His tracks quickly caught the attention of the blogs and got DJ support from the likes of Crookers, Brodinski, LA Riots, Don Rimini... And Dr. Lektroluv, who signed him to his label for the release of his first two EP’s ‘My Sitar’ and ‘Fakirology’. The remix requests quickly came flooding in and now there’s the release of his third EP on Lektroluv.
Time To Change exists of two parts, but you’ll hear both sound totally different. Part 1 is amazing banging hypnotic techno – you hadn’t seen that one comin’ right?! Part 2 sounds very happy with its cut-up disco sample and might get as popular on the radio as it will be at parties. Allround producer, allround great ep!!!
You can preview Time To Change on Soundcloud or check out the great teaser video on Youtube.
It's available digitally on Beatport and iTunes.
We already got some great feedback in from Steve Aoki, Boys Noize, Brodinski, Boris Dlugosch, Mixhell, Mason, Style Of Eye, Zoo Brazil, Don Rimini, Drop The lime, The Aston Shuffle, Chewy Chocolate Cookies, Mustard Pimp, BeatauCue, His Majesty Andre, Dj Manaia, Will Bailey, NT89, Malente, Tony Senghore, Supabeatz, The Subs, Sound Of Stereo, Mumbai Science, Mightyfools, PartyHarders, Ampersand, Mr. Magnetik, Shameboy, Pete Carvell (iDJ magazine) and many many more!
After the successful “Spikkeltjes EP”, which was released early last year on Lektroluv, it’s time for a follow-up release by the Dutch Boemklatsch crew on Dr. Lektroluv’s label.
The “To The Future EP” exists out of 5 tracks; the original featuring Princess Superstar, and remixes by San Francisco trio Pance Party, German King (Kong) Sharam Jey, Dutch upcoming stars Nobody Beats The Drum en Proxy’s Russian buddy DJ Antention.
You can discover this release on Soundcloud or Youtube. It will be out on the 14th of February on Lektroluv.
But we can already tell you there is more to come from Boemklatsch on Lektroluv in 2011, get prepared!!
