New Highbloo EP coming up!

Highbloo got into music when he was still a child. He created his own electro project "Highbloo" after seeing Popof perform in Antwerp at the end of 2008. Ever since then, he has been working on his productions; a sweet mix between midget, dirty dutch and minimal techno. His tracks quickly caught the attention of the blogs and got DJ support from the likes of Crookers, Brodinski, LA Riots, Don Rimini... And Dr. Lektroluv, who signed him to his label for the release of his debut EP ‘My Sitar’ earlier this year. The remix requests quickly came flooding in and now there’s a second EP coming up on Lektroluv.
This summer Highbloo played at all the big festivals, in the meantime he’s a regular at Social Club in Paris and soon he’s also playing at the gigantic I Love Techno fest. The remixes on this EP are from the hands of UK star Will Bailey (Simma Records) and our very own Mumbai Science, who are currently killing it globally with their Ancova monster hit.

The first feedback on Helium

Last week we introduced you to the new long awaited Sound Of Stereo EP on Lektroluv; Helium. It shows two sides of the amazing duo. First there is Sound of Stereo's A-side: crowd pleasing, anthem-style bangers, represented on this new EP by the title track "Helium". Next to that there is Sound of Stereo's deeper B-side: techno - but not narrow - minded vibes, represented by the track "Radium". If you weren't convinced of Sound of Stereo's knowhow in the past, you will be blown away by this release!
Remixes are being provided by the legendary Jan Driver and by Soulwax protégé Paul Chambers.

You can check out this release on Soundcloud or on our Youtube channel. It will be released digitally on the 27th of September, and on vinyl just a week later.
The first feedback just came in and looks very promising! This record is already in the playlist of Tiga, Diplo, Mixhell, Zdar, Djedjotronic, Beataucue, Mason and many many others!

The Subs & Mumbai Science on the radio

The dance show Switch - every Friday and Saturday on our national radio station Studio Brussel - has announced its new 'Playground' residents for this season, and both The Subs and Mumbai Science are amongst them. The first mix by The Subs was broadcasted last weekend, but you can listen again on the StuBru website or on Soundcloud.

New Dr. Lektroluv mix-cd on release

The 22nd of August Dr. Lektroluv played at the well known Dutch festival Lowlands in Biddinghuizen.
If you didn't have a ticket (it was sold-out since ages), didn't get into the overcrowded Bravo tent anymore or just want to hear the set again, that's possible! The Lowlands set has been recorded and will be released on cd on the 20th of September.
